The Apulso website does not itself install tracking cookies. The only thing that can load is Google Analytics — and only after you give explicit consent, never before. This policy explains exactly what that means and how to choose.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website, used to recognise the device across visits. This site mostly uses a functionally similar alternative — the browser's local storage (localStorage) — to remember your cookie choice and a few things that only ever live on your own device (like the shopping cart). Only Google Analytics, once accepted, uses actual cookies.
How does the cookie notice work?
The first time you visit, a notice asks for your choice. Nothing from Google Analytics loads until you click "Accept" — the script isn't even requested from Google's servers. If you click "Decline" (or close the notice, on the launch page), your choice is saved locally in the browser and the notice won't show again, but no analytics data is collected. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's browsing data in your browser settings — the notice will reappear on your next visit.
What cookies does Google Analytics use?
Once accepted, Google sets its own cookies (not managed by us) to measure visits, e.g.
_ga and _ga_*, lasting up to 2 years. We've configured Analytics with IP
anonymisation on. None of these cookies are used for advertising — only for aggregated site usage
statistics.
How can you manage cookies?
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time — this removes your saved choice and any Analytics cookies already set. Note that permanently blocking cookies in your browser may stop the notice from working correctly. For more details on how we handle your data, including the email we collect for newsletter updates, see our Privacy Policy.
Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically. We recommend checking it regularly.
